drawer pull
I carved the drawer pull in the form of a horses head out of ebony. The
piece
is signed
underneath
the top at the front.

Horse granite
Here you can see the horse laser etched into the granite set into the top. The knob is a stylized horse head in ebony. The primary wood is maple with African Blackwood accents in the top.
Finished end table
Here is the finished table that I have been working on. All joinery was done with old hand tools, non electric.

Hand cut half blind dovetails
This is my first attempt at half-blind dovetails, for a drawer to go with an end table I'm building.
The front is hard maple, I think that the sides are poplar.
This is an old style alcohol blowlamp. Intense heat can be had from these, but only in a very small spot.
